Our Story

How It Started

A Mission to Empower Every Child's Voice

Ebright was founded in 2016 by Mr. Kevin Khoo and a co-founder under the name SF Training Provider — later rebranded as Ebright Sdn. Bhd. The founding objective was simple: provide professional public speaking training to children so they can grow in confidence.

It took a while for the new vision to take off. The first breakthrough came as a referral from a friend — a long-term collaboration for weekly public speaking classes with an education centre. From there the model proved itself, and demand grew.

Today Ebright is one of the very few centres in Malaysia approved by Trinity College London (UK) to run an internationally recognised communication skills assessment, cementing our position as the gold standard for kids' public speaking in the region.

Milestones That Define Us

2016 — Founded

Mr. Kevin Khoo and a co-founder open the first centre in Subang Taipan as SF Training Provider, later rebranded to Ebright Sdn. Bhd.

2018 — Klang Valley Expansion

Multiple new branches open across the Klang Valley, bringing weekly classes to communities outside Subang.

2019 — Trinity College London Partnership

Ebright becomes one of Malaysia's few approved Trinity College London centres, offering internationally recognised communication skills certification.

2020 — Online Classes Launch

During the pandemic Ebright pivots to Zoom-based online classes, keeping students learning and opening enrolment to Indonesia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

2022 — Star SOBA Award

Recognised at the Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) for excellence in education and youth-impact services.

2024 — Parenthood Choice Award

Voted Parenthood Choice — recognised by Malaysian parents as the trusted brand for kids' public speaking education.

2025 — JCI TOYM Gold & 20 Branches

Founder Mr. Kevin Khoo receives the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians (TOYM) Gold Award. Network grows to 20 branches and 2,700+ confident speakers with 15,000+ alumni across Southeast Asia.
